the Alexander Arrangement of Elements Print E-mail

imageThis unique modern educational innovation provides a hands-on, visually attractive, most accurate table for the new student to create and own, both intellectually and physically.

Recognition of the Periodic Law is a necessity in the learning and practice of chemistry, and the Alexander Arrangement of Elements is designed to show the elements sequentially arranged according to atomic numbers with all the accepted group and property interrelationships of elements and blocks, avoiding, at first, the dozen breaks in Mendelev's line necessary to flatten the table — much as the globe is the proper introduction to the world of flat maps.

The AAE has three forms; the smallest can be a personal achievement, constant reference, pen/pencil caddy, or a whole class effort. The middle size is designed to be used as a classroom lesson, and requires individual data entry, while the larger is both a 2-D and 3-D AAE for classroom display.

Student Interactive Model Dozen

This version helps learning by having the student complete the details on the model. Labeling the elements and color-coding the blocks and groups helps students undestand the relationships and retain that understanding.
